Welcome to my photoblog.
The picture above was taken using a rather modest point-and-shoot camera of only a few megapixels. It’s not complicated. It has a simple subject. I prefer to strip the color from the original image because the light is doing very nice things. There are certainly aesthetics to it that I love.
But for me, the importance of this image is that it captures a specific moment in time. It’s simple as a playground and a fake steering wheel, a slight smile and the brightness of joyful eyes.
Here, I’ll share more of the same: images from past and present, with perhaps some words, a story, or an explanation. I’m sure that I will occasionally post only an image and let it speak for itself.
But each is its own little slice of time.
